Dr. Edward Holt has been serving Ellis County since September 2011. Our office provides a variety of services for all Obstetrics and Gynecology patients.
Edward L. Holt, DODr. Holt grew up on a farm and ranch southwest of Houston, near Rosenberg, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Austin College where he was a member of the Kangaroo's 1984 National Championship Football Team.
After a successful career in pharmaceutical sales, he earned his medical degree from The University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MIssouri. His Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology took him east to The University of South Carolina. Dr. Holt is board certified by the Amercian Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Although his budding practice occupies a great deal of time, he enjoys spending time with his five daughters: twins Pierce and Megan, twins Lee and Landry, and Reese. In addition, Dr. Holt enjoys travel, exercise and sports.
Jamie CherryJamie is Dr. Holt's Medical Assistant. Jamie has been in the medical field since 2006 working primarily with family practice, and just recently switching to OB/GYN. She was born and raised in Midlothian, Texas, and now resides in Ennis, Texas with her husband Jason and three children. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports and being with her family.
Rocio SantolloRocio is Dr. Holt’s Trained Medical Assistant. Rocio has been in the medical field for two years. She was raised in Ennis, Texas where now she lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, sports and spending time with her family.
